Are you a full-stack developer passionate about identity systems, cybersecurity, and platform development? Do you want to gain hands-on experience developing secure, scalable platforms that can impact industries worldwide? Join Shoptaki, a startup building SmartID, a passwordless universal ID system that empowers users with control over their data.

As part of the SmartID Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) team, you'll work on web and mobile applications that enable seamless authentication and data privacy for industries like payments, healthcare, education, and government services. With an emphasis on collaborative AI and cybersecurity, this internship offers opportunities to build secure, scalable solutions while developing key technical skills.

What You’ll Work On (Projects to Choose)

1. SmartID Platform Development:

• Develop a secure and scalable web or mobile identity management platform with passwordless login features.
• Design APIs and integration frameworks that enable organizations to adopt SmartID for multiple use cases.
• Focus on data security, including encryption, authentication protocols, and access control.

2. Mobile & Web Development:

• Build responsive, high-performance mobile apps (React Native) or web applications (React.js) to enhance user experience.
• Implement real-time features using gRPC or RESTful APIs.
• Optimize front-end and back-end services for scalability, performance, and security.

3. Cybersecurity & Identity Automation:

• Apply cybersecurity best practices to protect data and ensure identity fraud prevention.
• Build AI-driven features like adaptive access control and risk-based authentication.
• Automate security processes such as vulnerability scanning and API monitoring.

Required Skills

• Programming: Proficiency in Python, Node.js, and React.js (or React Native for mobile development)
• Knowledge of Distributed Systems: Familiarity with microservices and API integration (REST, gRPC)
• Cybersecurity Concepts: Encryption (TLS/SSL), secure authentication protocols (OAuth, SAML), access control
• Web & Mobile Development: Experience or interest in developing front-end and back-end solutions

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with gRPC, Graph DB, or real-time communication protocols
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud services
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks for secure data storage and transmission
• Understanding of distributed identity systems and scalable platform architecture
