Interns are a vital part of a congressional office and it is an excellent experience that will serve you well in your future endeavors. From answering phone calls to giving tours, these are the functions that constituents interact with the most. As an intern, you are representing the Congressman, the Big First District, and most importantly serving Kansans. 

Applications for Summer 2025 are now open. The deadline to submit all application materials is March 7, 2025, at 11:59PM ET. Please submit the following materials to be considered for an internship:

    • Current resume
    • 1-page writing sample highlighting a policy issue important to you
    • Two letters of recommendation
