Backend Development Internship (Unpaid) - Early Team Role with Potential for Full-Time

About Us:
We are a private markets trading platform, revolutionizing the secondaries industry. As part of our early team, you will play a critical role in shaping the function, efficiency, and implementation of our product.

The Role:
We are looking for a talented and motivated Backend Software Developer to join our team as an intern. This is an unpaid position, but with the opportunity to become a key member of our founding team and potentially transition to a full-time compensated role. You will be working directly with the CEO, taking ownership of crucial design decisions that will have a lasting impact on our platform.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the construction and implementation of the back end of our private markets trading platform, including trade request processing and data management structures.
- Implement AI endpoints (summarization and analysis tools).
- Collaborate closely with the CEO and other team members to understand platform needs and translate them into efficient solutions.
- Implement buy- and sell-side data management systems.

Requirements:
- Proficiency in Python and JavaScript as developer tools.
- Familiarity with crypto or public markets is preferred.
- Familiarity with AI tools, both user- and developer-end.
- Ability to take initiative and work independently.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions effectively.
- A passion for creating user-centric designs and a keen eye for detail.
- Immediate availability for a start date ASAP.
